The Signature Apex Trio
Maxi · Midi · Mini

How it started:
It all started with the Apex Midi. I kept working on my own eyes and on client after client, and I kept wanting the same shape, just smaller. That’s how Apex Mini came to be.
Then, a while later, a factory mix-up sent me the wrong batch — an Apex brush a full size up from what I’d ordered. My first reaction was shock. I actually paused sales while I figured out what had happened.
But I kept the brushes, added a few to my own & pro kit, and just kept working with it. And somewhere in that process, I realized I needed it.

It filled a gap I didn’t know I had. That “mistake” became Apex Maxi — and now it’s one of the most essential brushes I own.
That’s the honest origin of this trio: not ready white-labeled brushes for re-sale, but years of working on real eyes, plus one “happy” accident I almost said no to.

Why this trio, specifically
I think of it in three grades.

Grade one is the brushes you reach for every single time — the ones your routine actually depends on.

Grade two is the “nice to have” brushes — the big powder brush you use for a quick all-over sweep or to set with powder, something you could live without but is fine to have around occasionally.

Grade three is filler — brushes that sit in the set to make it look fuller, that you’ve either never touched or tried once and never reached for again.

The classic tapered blender brush, the most popular shape on the market, is honestly grade two at best. It’s generic. It’s shapeless. It’s the least intentional, least precise brush in most kits.

The Apex Trio is grade one, in every size. Maxi, Midi, and Mini are all absolute must-haves, and each one multitasks far beyond what a single generic brush can do.

What each one does:

Apex Mini is your micro-placement brush, for the zones where anything bigger blurs instead of defines: tight folds, lower lash line control, inner and outer corner detailing, targeted depth, and micro shaping on smaller lid space. It’s also become essential in my own lip application.

Apex Midi is your everyday precision workhorse — controlled crease mapping, outer corner shaping, building dimension gradually, balance and symmetry correction, transition work that keeps the shape intact, and under-eye color correction. This is the size most eye looks are actually built on.

Apex Maxi is expanded placement without losing control — a more intentional, more anatomically logical evolution of the classic tapered brush. It gives you soft expansion, more predictable placement, and better shape preservation, without the uncontrolled bloom a traditional taper brush tends to create on hooded, deep-set, or asymmetrical eyes.

Three sizes, one job each, zero filler.
