Hi, I'm Vera — a professional makeup artist, and the founder of Happy Eyelids.
I have fully hooded eyes. For years, I struggled with brushes that weren't made for my eye shape — blending in the wrong place, creasing where it shouldn't, and never quite achieving the looks I saw everywhere else. I attended makeup school, worked with clients, and spent years in the beauty industry trying to bridge that gap.
Eventually, I realized the gap wasn't in technique. It was in the tools.
Why I built Happy Eyelids
After years of buying full brush sets just to use two or three brushes — and still needing to source extras to complete my kit — I decided to design the set I'd always wished existed. I spent months vetting factories until I found one that matched my standards: ultra-soft yet firm bristles, cruelty-free, vegan, non-toxic, and built to last.
The result is a curated set of 5 brush shapes I use daily — on myself and my clients. Nothing unnecessary. Nothing that compromises on quality or ethics.
